Let's talk
Why am I so excited about this project? The answer is simple - it's a great opportunity to show the world what we think about and share with each other. The bigger Down syndrome community doesn't normally get to hear our stories as a group. More often, we are in the minority of the "support group crowd," the "conference crowd," and the "blogging crowd." That doesn't mean we don't have anything to say ! Let's take this opportunity to really be heard.
, D, I, J, L, N, O, P, Q, R, S, X, Y, Z
A , BThose are your choices. Let us know which one you want.
Details:
Post should be at least 100 words and preferably contain at least one picture. (these are just minimums - you can do whatever you're comfortable with)
Title or topic of the post should have a word or phrase that starts with the letter you choose.
Story should involve something to do with Down syndrome and/or your family member: advocacy, historic perspective, favorite activity, treasured memory, caregiving, services, school, etc.
I'd like to have all the submissions at least 10 days before the posting date. For example, if you choose A, which is scheduled for April 1st, I'd like to have the draft by March 22nd in case there is any editing / questions before it goes live.
